The Mayson Hotel, Dublin
It has finally arrived.
Gecko Catering Equipment are delighted to have been working on Press Up Entertainment’s latest venture – “The Mayson Hotel.”
Located on Dublin’s North Wall Quay, the hotel has opened its doors to the public just in time for Christmas 2019. With its sister hotels; The Devlin, The Dean and The Clarence Hotel, The Mayson Hotel is said to be one of the “most modern and architecturally stunning” hotels in Dublin.
The hotel consists of two protected buildings – a traditional dockers pub also known as The Bottle Boy, and a 19th century timber warehouse. While working closely with Pure Fitout and O’Donnell O’Neill Designs, Gecko has updated the existing pub – The Bottle Boy, giving it a complete revamp with a full bar fit out. As well as fitting the bespoke bars throughout the hotel, Gecko has installed a full kitchen with serve over, which includes a custom made wood burning clay oven as a feature piece to the high-end kitchen. Extraction and ventilation throughout the hotel was also supplied and installed by Gecko.
The new refurbishment will house 94 bedrooms including a penthouse suite which is overlooking Dublin’s Docklands. The hotel is also equipped with a ‘Power’ Gym, a thermal suite, The Mayson Bar, Dime Coffee, Ryleigh’s Rooftop Restaurant, a conference centre and a roofed courtyard.
With its location central to the 3Arena and the Bord Gais Energy Theatre, The Mayson Hotel is a sure to leave a lasting impression on any guest whether you are on a business trip, a holiday or a just day tripping in Dublin.
